BLOOD TESTS

When your test results have arrived back at the surgery if you require a follow up or further discussion we will contact you.

If you do not hear from us you should assume your results need no further action.

If you feel the need to contact us for results we ask that you leave this until after 2:00pm as this is when the telephone lines are less busy and also enables staff to deal with your request in a more appropriate manner. If you phone in the morning and staff are busy you may be asked to callback due to the demand on the staff in the early part of the day.

Note that the practice has a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection and we will only release test results to the person to whom they relate unless that person has given prior permission for the release of this data or they are not capable of understanding the results.
