About Millgate Healthcare Partnership
Millgate Healthcare Partnership is an all for people healthcare provider serving the community of Denton. Our approach keeps people in our minds and at the heart of everything we do. We treat each person as a person, not as a patient, illness or appointment.
We are working closely with our neighbourhood team to be able to offer services that are closer to home and help make the whole community healthier offering amongst other services, physio first appointments, mental health first appointments, same day access, routine GP appointments and a community pharmacist to support repeat prescribing.
Millgate Healthcare Partnership is also an Enhanced Training Practice and we are committed to supporting new ways to care for people and manage health. Some of our clinical hours are devoted to various education programmes for a variety of health professionals. We hope that by offering an excellent training environment we will help shape the next generation of healthcare professionals in order for us to create an expert team for the future.
We are extremely fortunate to have a Patient Participation Group (PPG) who are valued by all members of the practice. A PPG is a group of our patients who have an interest in the services provided at Millgate. They have worked in partnership with the Practice to ensure that there is a good relationship between patients, GP’s and other professional staff and helped contribute to improvements of services and quality of care and work towards better and improved communications.
Our vision is that our clinicians will be working in a practice that they are proud of, delivering care to patients in a wider, truly integrated team. This is the beginning of Millgate’s journey and we still have much road ahead of us, we hope that you will continue to support us on this road to a successful partnership for all.
