Flu appointments

We will shortly be sending out invitations to those eligible for the flu vaccination.

You will receive a text and a link where you can book a timed appointment, we have clinics on a Saturday and during the week so there will be plenty of choice. Due to the timed appointments queues will be kept to a minimum.

Please wait to receive your invitation, if we are unable to get to you by text we will telephone you.

If you do want to contact the surgery regarding your flu vaccination to request an appointment please try to avoid our busier times - particularly mornings before 11am

We will be making arrangements for the nasal flu vaccination for children separately and working with our primary care network team to deliver this.

Our local primary care network will be arranging Covid vaccinations and will be in touch separately, the practice are not administering Covid vaccinations

The flu vaccination is important because, while flu is unpleasant for most people, it can be dangerous and even life threatening for some people, particularly those with certain health conditions.

The best time to have your flu vaccine is in the autumn or early winter before flu starts spreading.
