I joined Churchgate Surgery in 2007, having qualified from Manchester University in 2003. My main interests are Minor Surgery, Education and IT. Outside of work, I enjoy travelling and spending time with my young family.

I joined the Windmill Medical Practice in 2000 , qualified at Manchester University in 1996 My areas of interest include Women’s Health with a specialist knowledge of Menopause Management and Contraception, Infertility and Sexual Health My interests outside the practice include travelling to Cyprus as often as I can and the boys in blue… Manchester City.... CTID!

I qualified from Newcastle Medical School in 1996. I have practised as a General Practitioner for the last ten years. I really enjoy the holistic apsect of general practice. I work part-time and my three children at home keep me busy. - Speciality area: Women's Health.

I graduated from Leicester Medical School & started working as a GP in 2007, I have a keen interest in substance misuse and act as GP Trainer for the GP registrars. Additionally, I tutor & act as a OSCE examiner for medical students at the University of Manchester. When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my family and take part in a variety of sports.

Consultant Advanced Clinical Practitioner (Nurse)

I qualified in 2008 from the University of Manchester and subsequently obtained my Master’s degree in Advanced Clinical Practice from the University of Cumbria. Prior to joining Windmill Medical Practice and subsequently Millgate Healthcare Partnership in 2016 my background was in emergency and unscheduled care. I consult with patients attending with any acute, chronic or complex health conditions and have a special interest in Paediatrics, Frailty and Palliative care. I am the practice lead for the training and development of non-medical clinical staff and am involved in staff management, clinical audit, governance; service development and quality assurance.

Training for General Practice extends over 3 years and incorporates 18 months in hospital specialties and 18 months in General Practice. Six months of the General Practice experience is undertaken in posts that allow release to a hospital specialty to gain additional experience and these are termed GP + posts. Tameside and Glossop CCG also employ district nurses, midwives, health visitors and a counsellor who all visit the surgery and carry out consultations.
